About Coleshill Operatic Society

Coleshill Operatic Society was formed in 1908 and its first show was HMS Pinafore performed in Coleshill.

Murder Mystery with the Coleshill Operatic Society
The Society continues to perform shows at the Core Theatre in Solihull. Although the Society started off with mainly Gilbert & Sullivan productions, it has performed much more up to date musicals over the past 30 years, including Jesus Christ Superstar, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Copacabana, Little Shop Of Horrors, Oliver and Jekyll & Hyde to name a few.

We are a member of THUGS "Theatre User Group Solihull" who, as a body, represent the societies that use the Arts Complex Theatre and is a self regulating body that operate a set of rules and recommendations that benefit all society members.

We are also members of NODA, "The National Operatic & Dramatic Association", which gives us access to may useful resources and provides a national sounding board for societies like ourselves.

Further information about NODA, can be found on their website www.noda.org.uk
